Howard Gutzman serves as Program Director for the Laboratory Data Management System (LDMS) and Deputy Director of Business Development at Frontier Science. In this role, he oversees the development, implementation, and ongoing support of LDMS across more than 300 laboratories worldwide, helping research organizations manage complex clinical trial laboratory data with consistency and efficiency.

With more than 20 years of experience in project management and clinical research operations, Howard collaborates closely with research networks and international partners to support clinical trials conducted across the globe. He also works alongside the Frontier Science business development team to evaluate and improve organizational workflows, ensuring scalable and streamlined operational processes.

Howard currently serves as Principal Investigator on several HIV-focused projects, including the Population-based HIV Impact Assessment (PHIA) project, a multi-country HIV assessment program conducted throughout Africa.

Howard earned a Bachelor of Science in Forensic Chemistry from Buffalo State University.
